Let's be honest, Nina Ricci is nothing for those athletic/voluptuous babes among you.

As the fabulous Clemence Poesy shows, the drapings, etc solely work on a dream-like figure like hers.

And oh boy, do they work.

They remind me of the designs by the Rodarte sisters that are completely out-of-this world crazy beautiful. There as well as here in Peter Copping's designs for Nina Ricci are none of the rigid shapes and cuts as you might be familiar with in a Celine item. Clemence says that wearing Ricci to the Harry Potter premiere "was like wearing a cloud". 

And as much I am a believer in mind over matters of the heart, I feel a lightness, a romanticism that springs forth when I set eyes on his designs that even transcends ways of seeing into ways of feeling and ultimately ways of dreaming. Fittingly, Clemence adds, "Peter designs little dreams".
