This Erdem lace and silk-organza dress ticks my favorite color box: light yellow, which is one of the most flattering colors in my opinion. The cut is nice too. But what I can't help thinking when my eye is stopped short on the hem of the skirt is the visceral memory of a curtain I have somewhere else before. This solely happens because the lace fabric overlaps just that little bit, which is enough for me not to like it in this instant.
Who wants to look like a walking curtain anyway?
