I have fond memories from working at Tate Modern during my uni time. The energy that surrounds artists, architects, actors, politicians, etc. that came in was special to say the least. One of the artists that have stayed within my heart is Cy Twombly and his evocative paintings. There are a few pieces I connect with in particular; each a reflection of a mood/an emotion in the depth of turmoil; but yet though there is great bewilderment, there is also utmost joy, wild childish outbursts of creativity interspersed with provocative and critical prompts. My favourite pieces are the Seasons, especially Spring. I see within the seeds of beginning, flowers, nature having emerged from death but being strong and confident to rise up; the wonderful thing with art is it is never a simple 1 plus 1 is 2 equation.
You define for yourself what it is.
