As much as I am a fan of everything that is golden and glitters in the light, I must confess that Fendi's spring 2012 makeup -the gold leaf applied to eyes- seems a bit excessive for a day look. I would not have combined the golden eye makeup with the black kohl liner seemingly emphasizing the over-the-top-Cleopatra effect even more. Used in smaller quantities, I believe the gold leaf has the potential to light up your face and create a fabulously amazing luminescent effect. I would recommend applying it solely to the inside crease of the eye though. It should not look too made up as Candice's eyes look above (left) but rather a smaller version of Natasha's eye makeup (right).
