Here is how to man-repel for the beginner among you: take two oversized (in width and length) garments such as a huge blouse/shirt and a paperbag skirt (see left for inspiration, Miu Miu Spring 2012 ready-to-wear) and style with outrageously non-complimentary colors for your bag, makeup,etc. Voila! Totally men-repelling!
This is something for the man-repelling advanced among you. Pair unwashed and unstyled hair with sports top in flowery motif with various textures and fabrics of the coat and skirt AND do not forget to add a shoe in a particularly strange shape. This is the high art of man-repelling. Not everyone can pull this off OBVIOUSLY. And chic it is DEFINITELY not.
