Dear chicettes, do not blindly follow what the fashion bible, UK Vogue, preaches to you. In one of their previous issues, I read an article on plunging necklines titled "In at the Deep End -Take the Plunge", where the author praised the low neckline's seductive return. She wrote, "exposure by way of plunging -whatever it takes to reveal décolletage". The statement as well as its sentiment seem rather desperate to me. Above I have picked two looks from the Halston Fall 2011 ready-to-wear collection and wanted to illustrate that a deep plunge can look acceptable as seen above on the catwalk models whose flat chests appropriate this style. But consider the plunge on a woman with ample bosoms and the whole look ventures way too far into hooker territory.
