Patricia Riekel, the editor of the German Instyle magazine, summarizes what style is all about in the December 2011 issue. "Wearing different outfits and styles, one not only makes a comment about oneself, but also about one's environment." She then asks rhetorically: "Do you want to provoke? Amuse? Outshine all the others?....Great taste and style is respecting others."
Take the look from above by Altuzarra's spring 2012 ready-to-wear collection. What is this saying about the wearer? The one predominant comment she is making is that she is inconsistent; she wants to be edgy and tough failing to realize that the floppy cut ruins all attempts at toughness.
