There is a wave of pink coming towards us this spring. Last summer there have been hints of this color surge. Take a look at these great styles I have picked here. They are all in varying shades of shocking pink. There is something for everyone -for day, for night and for those who need a bit more cover.
On the top is a wool-crepe stretch dress by Michael Kors (Net-a-Porter). The styling here isn't the best unfortunately. I love the earrings but the shoes are an "ok" merely and the bag is just too much. I would style this dress with some tan flats and a sleek, small navy bag.
In the middle is a cocktail side ruffle dress from Stella McCartney in silk satin (MyTheresa). Here the styling is a bit off too. The nude heels are rather clumsy than stylish and sleek. Although the snakeskin clutch with pink piping matches the dress, matchy-matchy does not always equate to style and chic. Clearly style cannot be learnt -you either have it or you don't. This dress would look fabulous with diamond-embellished nude heels or blue peep-toes.
The bottom dress was on one of the e-newsletters from Les Nouvelles. This look is simply great. I love the golden choker necklace, the cream snakeskin bangles and the emerald pumps. Great look -subtly sexy but still sophisticated and lux.
