As previously mentioned I hold a particular opinion of Roksanda Ilincic's design aesthetic. I appreciate her choice of colour. Take a look above, dear chicette, and you can see why. But I am startled by her choice of shapes. These are clearly not looks for an everyday woman looking for a stylish wardrobe update to give herself and her day ahead a bit of spice as the shapes are so clearly unflattering for the body.
On a mannequin they seem to gather up some strenth and verge on looking like works of art - great on sculptures but not real women. The three looks above carry so much fabric, enough to overwhelm or rather enlarge any body. The top look in particular does not even do anything for the model wearing it on the runway and THAT says a lot.
