Above are my most hated and most loved picks of Vionnet's Spring 2012 collection.
The suit on the top is just the craziest concoction of a summer outfit that is just simply too bulky at the shoulders and too unflattering around the hips. The latter is due to the lack of tailoring in the pant. The worst is probably the ugly check belt. The jewel pumps are probably the best in this whole outfit.
The second look with the sequinned shoulder top and the flower pant is just divine. It is busy and colourful but it just seems to work very well. The belt is not necessary but not too bad if left. This look is nothing for the shy though. If you want to take the edge off of this look, just go for one of the two: either the pant or the top and combine it with a neutral-toned partner such as a white skirt or a white tee. Voila! Tres Chic!
