AERIN The Lighting Collection or how to decorate your work space

I just came across this e-newsletter by AERIN.
I love Aerin Lauder. She is simply stunning. Her dress style as well as her home(s).
So why not use the above e-newsletter as a how-to inspiration when it comes to decorating your work space.
Lessons:
1. Don't be afraid of bold wall colour. Above: deep matt black.
2. Choose expensive pieces that combine a colour scheme such as the exquisite looking colour gold and dot it around your space. Above: Table legs, vase, table lamp, wall lamp, ash tray.
3. Don't be afraid to clutter intelligently. Above: stack fashion/decorating books on a corner next to various 'objects' such as note pad, etc.
4. Go for a neutral carpet if your wall colour is very dark. Above: light brown structured carpet.
5. Layer rich colours: dark wall colour, Rothko-esque blood red print on the wall, purple flowers on the table, mahogany wood table. dark wood chair legs.
And the result is a truly luxurious, expensive and intricately beautiful space.
