Chic Career Woman - Jessica De Ruiter - Stylist & Creative Consultant

Jessica is dear to my heart as she does what I started doing before I had kids.
But when it comes to her personal style sensibility, her aesthetic of choice veers towards the simple, the effortless based upon monochrome colours interspersed with faint bursts of blue (sandals above).
I like this cleanliness, the non-fussy sense of structure (very German like moi).
My favourite picture is the first/the one on the top, where she wears a white skinny jean with a mocha leather belt and mocha suede moccasins paired with a French classic, the breton stripe.
It is not the style, the simple and easy look that draws my eye back but rather her facial expression, the smile that dances on her lips, her eyes averted from the camera, from us looking in, as if to indicate she is shy. Then she also steadies herself on the window pane in a so natural non-pose that wouldn't normally necessitate this. Yet she plays with the camera, uses her girlish charm which I find intriguing. Note how everything is a composition (not just the clothes, but also the exterior/interior and quite possibly or rather certainly her stance, her non-pose, her look. It is all part of the persona.
