Chic Ischia - Via 'The Talented Mr.Ripley' With Gwyneth Paltrow, Jude Law & Matt Damon

When I think of summer, or rather, when I am dreaming of sun, sea and sand I think of 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' with its iconoclastic scenes of beachy/sunny/sexy dispositions drenched in tradition showing the clashing lives of the rich and wealthy and the not so.
The movie's cinematography is simply beautiful. There is nothing on first glance that makes one think of the deeper meaning of it all. On the tip-of-the-iceberg-level all is just gorgeous and that is what I love when I dream of summer, ease, sea, sand, and fun.
All that combined does not need depth.
And that is why I dream about it.
I like depth too much to linger and dwell too much (or at all) on the fun. I am German after all.
Yet visually it is utmost gratifying to watch and to behold, so should you belong to those that have never watched this, then take my word as gospel as me the Kings Film Masters nerd would rate this as one of the best movies I have seen. 'The Hours' are a class of its own too but no sun, sea and sand near there.
